Ohio Triathlon

NOTE: This information is for the 2021 event. Stay tuned for the 2022 Ohio 70.3 Preview in Sandusky!

WHEN: Saturday June 19th – Sunday June 20th 2021
WHERE: In Delaware, Ohio we will get a chance to preview the entire race course over a period of Saturday and Sunday, talk training for a Half Ironman, and talk specifically how to race and plan for Ohio 70.3.
WHY: Perfect for ANY athlete racing the 2021 Ohio 70.3, any athlete thinking of racing the 2022 Ohio 70.3, any athlete racing long course towards the end of 2021 or any triathlete looking for a fun weekend with some good workouts! Come and learn how to race a 70.3 – and more specifically how to race Ohio 70.3
WHEN: The final schedule will be sent to athletes prior to the preview weekend, but we will swim and ride on Saturday – and run on Sunday. With the summer heat and in an attempt to start as close to the start time of the actual race, we will start EARLY. We will plan on being in the water on Saturday morning no later than 7:30
The tentative schedule as of 5/10/21 is as follows:
Saturday, June 19th:
7 a.m. – 7:10 am swim safety briefing
7:10 am – Begin swim
8:30 am – Bike safety briefing
9 am – Begin Bike
Sunday, June 20th:
9 am – begin run
Space will be limited in order to provide a safe and beneficial experience for ALL athletes. Email or direct message Ohio Triathlon with any questions/comments

NOTE: The bike is a “point to point” course. We will provide a shuttle back to the Delaware state park, however the shuttle may get backed up. If you are able to provide your own transportation back to the start, you are more than welcome to do so!
